Photocopy of a handwritten diary in six pages. Eva Bjork writes about migrating from Sweden to Utah in 1884. Also included is a biography of Eva's husband, William Bjork. William migrated from Sweden to Utah in 1868. He worked for the railroad and lived in several places in Utah. He finally settled in Provo, Utah. The author of the item is unknown and the date of its composition is uncertain.

Typewritten excerpts from an autobiography. Garner writes about her conversion to Mormonism, her life in Nauvoo, Illinois, her memories of Joseph Smith (1805-1844) and the "mantle" of the prophet falling on Brigham Young (1801-1877), her journey to Utah, and her life in Slaterville, Utah.

Scope and Contents Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Hans Larsen with handwritten corrections. Also included is a typewritten biography of Cecile Marie Schmidt Larsen, the author's mother. Hans Larsen was converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Denmark and migrated to Utah in 1853. The accounts include much genealogical data. Handwritten autobiography. The date of composition is uncertain. Martineau writes about being forced to leave Missouri with other Mormons, migrating to Utah in 1849, marrying James Henry Martineau in 1852, and her life in Parowan, Utah.

Photocopies of a typescript of a diary. Pearce migrated to Utah in 1851. She went by way of New Orleans, Louisiana, and St. Louis, Missouri. She gives details on the trek to Utah. She lived in Ogden, Utah. There is a gap in the diary from 1852 to 1868. Pearce moved to California in 1869.

Photocopy of a typewritten biography. The item was "written at the request of Cumorah Smith Burns." Ruby Smith writes about Catherine Smith's journey to Utah, her marriage, her settlement in the Bear Lake Valley of Utah, and her life in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Photocopy of a typescript of an autobiography. Tracy writes about being baptized by the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith, in 1842, his migration to Utah in 1850, his settling in Huntsville, Utah, and his mission to the Indians (probably Shoshoni Indians) at Ft. Supply (near Ft. Bridger), Wyoming. Also included are autobiographies of Tracy's wife, Eliza Ann Sprague Tracy, and his mother, Nancy Alexander Tracy.

Typewritten copy of an autobiography. Wilhelm writes about her youth in New York, her joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1838, her move to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1844, and her subsequent migration to Utah. She also tells about her various marriages and her life in Salt Lake City, Spanish Fork, Springville, St. George, and Orderville, Utah. She also talks of living in St. Joseph, Arizona.
